I listened to a CBC interview with him once, and he seems to be a very committed Christian. An interesting guy to have in the Green Party, for sure!
From his charity work and the name he made for himself in Edmonton, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Truth be told, I would be far more wary of a celebrity bureaucrat than a celebrity politician. It seems 99% of politics is soft-skills whereas a bureaucrat might actually need some experience.
