It’s out there. That is what post-modern is all about. Monotheistic religions are targeted because they have the uncouth to believe in propositional truth which means that if they have THE TRUTH others are, dare we whisper it- wrong? Worse, they actively seek to persuade others to abandon other beliefs for theirs. (I’m not sure that Jews actually proselytize but they accept proselytes.)
