I did it.

I finally elicited The Comment.

It only took a conversation about how we should reuse conversations. You know, instead of having new conversations, just reference previous ones. With a single word, you can imply an entire conversation if you’ve had it before.

You can categorize them, template them and parameterize them with runtime arguments ;-)

“Let’s have argument #1 over ‘punctuality’”

At any rate, I was well into the Case for Conversational Reusability when The Comment arrived, in all it’s glory.

“Scott, I just realized why you don’t drink. You don’t have to.”

I love The Comment ;-P
